Laser Welder Prices: Power and Equipment Compared

Laser welder price: catalog price table net from 1000 to 3000 W (two shops, as of October 2026) and six factors that raise the price.

Ręczna spawarka laserowa RBW 1500 Roboteus — cena a moc i wyposażenie

If you type „laser welder price” into a search engine, you get a spread from just under twenty to nearly fifty thousand zlotys net. All of these are manual fiber laser welders, that is, devices from the same family: laser source, fiber optic cable, gun with optics and wire feeder. The price difference is not by chance — it can be broken down into several specific components.

This text organizes net catalog prices from Polish shops (as of October 2026) by power class and breaks them down by factors. We deliberately do not count the total cost of ownership here — shielding gas, wire, consumables, energy and training are discussed in a separate text about the full cost of a laser welder. Here it’s about the machine itself.

One caveat at the start. Roboteus does not publish the price of its welder: laser welder RBW 1500 is priced for the process, after discussion about material, thicknesses and workstation equipment. In the tables below you will find prices from other suppliers, and the RBW 1500 appears as a reference point for parameters, not price.

Laser welder — net catalog price by power (table)

The table collects net catalog prices from two domestic online shops, which we designate as shop A and shop B, as of October 2026. Shop A has two series of welders in its offer (we call them series I and series II) and compact models. The note „3in1” means welding, cleaning and cutting with one gun; models without it are welding-only devices. We mark promotional prices separately, because after promotion they return to the regular level.

Power class Model (shop) Notes Net catalog price
1000 W series I, 3in1 (shop A) 3in1 19 500 PLN
1000 W series II, 3in1 (shop A) 3in1 19 900 PLN
1000 W series II (shop A) welding only 20 500 PLN
1500 W series I, 3in1 (shop A) 3in1 21 900 PLN
1500 W series II, 3in1 (shop A) 3in1 22 000 PLN
1500 W series II (shop A) welding only 23 000 PLN
1500 W compact model (shop A) compact 26 828 PLN
1500 W RBW 1500 (roboteus.com) Raycus source, S&A chiller, feeder included priced for process
2000 W series II, 3in1 (shop A) 3in1, promotion 24 900 PLN (regular price 26 900 PLN)
2000 W series I, 3in1 (shop A) 3in1 26 800 PLN
2000 W series II (shop A) welding only 28 500 PLN
2000 W compact model (shop A) compact 36 585 PLN
2000 W air-cooled model (shop B) air-cooled 42 900 PLN
2500 W air-cooled model (shop B) air-cooled 49 900 PLN
3000 W series I, 3in1 (shop A) 3in1 37 900 PLN
3000 W series II, 3in1 (shop A) 3in1 38 100 PLN
3000 W series II (shop A) welding only 39 500 PLN

Two things are immediately apparent. First, within one catalog, the transition from the 1000 W class to the 3000 W class roughly doubles the price. Second, in the 2000 W class, the spread between shops (from 24 900 PLN on promotion to 42 900 PLN) is greater than between adjacent power classes at one supplier. Shop B, by the way, lists its welder prices „from 38 500 PLN” in Google search results, so this is not an exception, just a different positioning of the entire offer.

In other words: the range from 19 500 to 49 900 PLN net does not mean „cheap” and „expensive” laser welders, but different configurations of the same class of equipment. Below we break them down into six components.

1. Source power: what you pay for when moving up

Source power is the first and most obvious component of price. It translates to the thickness of material that can be melted through and the welding speed at a given thickness. For reference: RBW 1500 with a Raycus 1500 W source welds carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum up to 5 mm according to manufacturer data. One of the domestic manufacturers declares for its 2000 W welder that „power up to 2 kW ensures full penetration up to 6 mm”.

In shop A, successive power classes in series II 3in1 cost: 19 900 PLN (1000 W), 22 000 PLN (1500 W), 24 900 PLN on promotion or 26 900 PLN regularly (2000 W) and 38 100 PLN (3000 W). The jump to the 3000 W class is noticeably larger than the previous ones, because as power increases, so does the required chiller, power consumption and the price of the source itself.

Match the power class to the thickest material you weld regularly, not to what comes up once a quarter. Power reserve costs at purchase and in operation, and with thin sheets it provides no advantage.

2. Cooling: water or air

The laser source and gun optics heat up, so every laser welder has a cooling system. In most designs, this is liquid cooling with a separate chiller — RBW 1500 works with an industrial S&A chiller. An alternative is air-cooled devices, without a chiller: lighter, easier to transport, no fluid to change.

In our data, the only air-cooled welders with catalog prices come from shop B: 42 900 PLN net for 2000 W and 49 900 PLN for 2500 W. The 2000 W models of both series from shop A cost from 24 900 to 28 500 PLN, and the compact one — 36 585 PLN. However, this difference cannot be attributed to cooling alone: shop B positions its entire offer higher, so you are comparing suppliers, not cooling systems. In one distributor’s catalog, this same division is visible in the descriptions: 800 W and 1500 W models are air-cooled, and the water-cooled 1500 W model is described as intended „for thicker materials”.

Pay attention to duty cycle. The manufacturer of the mentioned 2000 W welder with water cooling declares a duty cycle at one hundred percent. With air cooling, ask how long the device works continuously at full power before it limits it. The chiller, on the other hand, requires fluid and system cleanliness — this is an operating cost.

3. 3in1 function: welding, cleaning, cutting

„3in1” is welding, surface cleaning and cutting with one gun, usually with interchangeable nozzles and separate modes in the controller. Intuition suggests this is the more expensive version. Shop A’s catalog shows something different: in series II, the 1500 W 3in1 model costs 22 000 PLN, and the version without this function 23 000 PLN; the 2000 W 3in1 model on promotion 24 900 PLN versus 28 500 PLN for the welding-only version; the 3000 W 3in1 model 38 100 PLN versus 39 500 PLN.

In this catalog, „3in1” is not therefore a surcharge, but a different configuration of the head and software. Before you accept this function as free, ask specifically: what thickness does it cut, what nozzles and protective glasses are needed for it, and how quickly they wear out during cleaning.

4. Wire feeder and workstation equipment

Laser welding with wire addition requires a feeder, and the feeder has rollers matched to wire diameter and tips that wear out. Check if it is included. RBW 1500 has an automatic wire feeder in the price, with interchangeable rollers and tips. The manufacturer of the 2000 W welder, whose data we cite above, describes their feeder as four-roller. In shop A, a double wire feeder is a separate item for 4 400 PLN net.

Then comes workstation equipment, which is usually not in the machine offer: a welding positioner for 3 633 PLN and a rotator for 13 740 PLN net (shop A, as of October 2026). If you weld tanks, pipes or circumferential seams, count it into the investment right away.

5. Source quality, efficiency and service

Two welders with the same nominal power may have sources from different manufacturers and different efficiency. Suppliers communicate this differently: Roboteus provides the source manufacturer (Raycus), and the mentioned 2000 W welder manufacturer declares source efficiency above forty-two percent, gun weight 650 g and service response time 24/48 h. These declarations will not replace a trial on your own material, but they show what to ask about.

Price is also affected by what makes daily work easier: controller and feeder menu in Polish (RBW 1500 has both), a light gun with interchangeable optics and nozzles, device weight (RBW 1500 weighs 120 kg). According to shop B materials, investment in laser welding can be two to three times higher than in MIG/TIG, but productivity can be even ten times greater than with TIG. This relationship only makes sense if the machine actually works — service and parts availability are part of the price, not an add-on.

6. Warranty and technical documentation

The last component is easiest to skip when comparing prices in shops. The same 2000 W welder manufacturer declares a 3/5 year warranty and „ready WPQR”, that is, welding technology qualification protocols. For a workshop that welds elements without documentation requirements, WPQR has no value. For a facility supplying structures under supervision, it can shorten the path to its own technology qualification — whether and to what extent it can be used depends on the standard and supervising unit you work under.

Ask not just „how many years warranty”, but also what it covers (source, optics, chiller, feeder) and whether protective glasses and nozzles are excluded as consumables.

Price of 1500 W and 2000 W laser welder — where the most common choice lies

For a small or medium metalworking facility, the decision usually comes down to two classes. In shop A, the 1500 W class is a range from 21 900 PLN to 26 828 PLN, and the 2000 W class — from 24 900 PLN on promotion to 36 585 PLN; plus the 2000 W air-cooled model from shop B for 42 900 PLN. RBW 1500 is priced for the process.

The difference between classes at one supplier is a few thousand zlotys; the difference between suppliers in the same class — several thousand. The choice should therefore be determined by material thickness and equipment, not just the number of watts: if you regularly weld up to 5 mm, the 1500 W class according to RBW 1500 manufacturer data is sufficient; if you need full penetration up to 6 mm, one manufacturer’s documentation points to the 2 kW class. Who should buy a manual laser welder and where it ends is described in a separate text: manual laser welder — for whom and where it ends.

What not to save on: OHS and fume extraction

A fiber laser welder is a class 4 laser with a wavelength of approximately 1 µm. This means mandatory glasses with appropriate optical density for this wavelength, workstation shields that stop the beam and reflections, and welding fume extraction. Reflections from shiny metals (aluminum, copper) are a real hazard. These items are not in the machine price, and without them you cannot start the workstation.

Equipment Item (shop) Net catalog price
OHS kit variant 1 (shop A) 3 600 PLN
OHS kit variant 2 (shop A) 4 200 PLN
OHS kit variant 3 (shop A) 4 700 PLN
OHS kit variant 4 (shop A) 5 400 PLN
OHS kit variant 5 (shop A) 7 500 PLN
Fume extraction smaller model (shop B) 3 950 PLN
Fume extraction larger model (shop B) 7 500 PLN

As of October 2026. OHS kit variants differ in scope of equipment; we number them from cheapest. A set of protection and fume extraction together is from several to over a dozen thousand zlotys net — with a welder for twenty-some thousand this is a significant part of the investment and the only item where cost cutting makes no sense. Shields are matched to the workstation, not to the welder model.

How to compare offers: checklist

Before you put two prices side by side, bring them to the same configuration. List of questions for the seller:

  • Is the price net and does it include chiller, wire feeder, gun with full set of nozzles and protective glasses?
  • What is the source manufacturer and what is the declared efficiency?
  • Water or air cooling, and what is the duty cycle at full power?
  • What thickness does the manufacturer declare as maximum for carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum, and will they do a trial on your material?
  • What does the warranty cover, what is excluded as consumables, what is the service response time?
  • Is operator training included in the price and does the supplier help with WPQR?

A full list of models and parameters can be found on the Roboteus laser welders category page. RBW 1500 pricing for a specific process requires providing material, thickness and type of welds.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of a 1500 W laser welder?

In one domestic online shop’s catalog, 1500 W class welders cost from 21 900 PLN (3in1 model) to 26 828 PLN (compact model), net catalog prices, as of October 2026. Roboteus’s RBW 1500 in this class has no public price — it is priced for the process.

Is a 3in1 laser welder more expensive than a regular one?

Not necessarily. In one domestic shop’s catalog, 3in1 versions are cheaper in every power class than welding-only counterparts, for example the 1500 W 3in1 model for 22 000 PLN versus 23 000 PLN for the welding-only version. The surcharge does not result from the function, but from the configuration and supplier’s pricing policy.

Is an air-cooled laser welder more expensive than a water-cooled one?

This does not result from cooling alone. An air-cooled 2000 W welder in one domestic shop costs 42 900 PLN net, and 2000 W welders in another shop from 24 900 to 36 585 PLN (net catalog prices, as of October 2026) — this is a difference between suppliers, not between cooling systems. Air provides a lighter device without a chiller; when choosing, ask about the duty cycle at full power.

What is the price of the Roboteus RBW 1500 laser welder?

RBW 1500 has no public price. Roboteus prices it for the process, that is, after determining material, thickness, type of welds and workstation equipment. The set includes a Raycus 1500 W source, S&A chiller, automatic wire feeder and gun with interchangeable optics.

Is a wire feeder and OHS equipment included in the laser welder price?

It depends on the supplier. RBW 1500 has a feeder included, and in one domestic shop’s catalog a double wire feeder is a separate item for 4 400 PLN net. Glasses, shields and fume extraction are usually not included in the machine price.

Is laser welding more expensive than MIG or TIG?

According to materials from one laser welder seller, investment in laser welding can be two to three times higher than in MIG/TIG, with productivity even ten times greater than TIG. Whether this relationship pays off in your facility depends on the number of welding hours per year, not on the machine price alone.

Editorial note

Catalog prices cited in the text come from shop websites as of October 2026 and may change; before making a decision, check the current offer and ask about the configuration. Declared thicknesses and parameters depend on the specific machine, material and edge preparation. This text does not replace the manufacturer’s instructions or OHS regulations for working with class 4 laser.
